The minimum educational requirements for becoming a Customs Examiner are as follow:

• Associate degree in Business or General Studies with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Three (3) CXCs in English, Math and one other
• Others can be General, I, II or III OR Basic I or II

Note: Principles of Bookkeeping (POB) or Principles of Accounting (POA) may be substituted for Math

The minimum educational requirements for becoming a Security Assistant are as follow:

• Primary School Certificate
• Valid driver’s License
• Valid Police record
• Having a Military or Police background would be an asset
• Possession of High School Diploma would also be an asset
